Everything You Need is Out There – strategies for utilizing local wild places to support curriculum

Please join us on Pro-D Day, Friday, October 20th, at the Mossom Creek Hatchery and Education Centre from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Park naturalist Cleone Todgham and veteran outdoor educators Rod MacVicar and Ruth Foster will engage you in a host of easy-to-do environmental experiences that support curriculum goals for every grade level K-12 and for subjects ranging from literacy, numeracy, social studies and science to creative writing and other forms of artistic expression.

Participants will receive a valuable compilation of resources including locally relevant aboriginal education material.  Teachers can apply for $125 towards field trip transportation for programs with a forestry component.

Lunch will be provided.

Space is limited and you must be registered to attend.
